About Our Clinic
Dr. Maria Sakellarides has been a practicing audiologist since 1977. The professional audiologists, Mrs. June Williams and Dr. Maria Sakellarides are extensively trained in all aspects of hearing loss, hearing aids and counseling that will assist a patient through various stages of their hearing impairment. They are able to dispel myths related to hearing loss, hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Their goal is to provide hearing aid satisfaction and better quality of life. Professional audiologists, or Doctors of Audiology (Au.D.'s), are educated in the science and management of disorders of hearing and balance. The Au.D. graduates are prepared to utilize the newest advances in technology to help patients hear better. According to Dr. Maria, our goals are to "promote the acceptance of hearing healthcare for the hearing impaired and their families through the use of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, effective counseling and aural rehabilitation strategies. As professionals, our job is not necessarily that of selling hearing aids. Our priority is to make sure our patients find solutions to their hearing problems.
